Food Safety/HACCP Standards
All food safety/HACCP standards are based on the Codex requirements (Codex Alimentarious Commission, 1996).
Due to business requirements many food organisations have further developed these basic standards and included their own business requirements to ensure continuity of supply. These businesses include Woolworths, Coles, Spotless, QANTAS, Subway, McDonalds etc.
What does this mean as a business who wishes to supply to a company with their own standard? Often a lot of headaches, wasted money, stress, anxiety and frustration! You simply want to conduct business and it can be very confusing if you already are fully HACCP certified and you then discover that you need to have even further standards to satisfy an individual customer. Similar customers requirements will be worlds apart yet it is the same product going through the same process. Talk to us....we hear and feel your frustation. Better still, we can help you.
Add to this the requirements from local, state and federal government bodies and businesses often find themselves in a haze of contradiction, chasing their tail and wasting enormous amounts of money and time.
eQA can help to clear the haze. Call us the haze-busters - call us whatever - most importantly call us. Don't waste time and money trying to figure all this out. We love a good haze - it's where we specialise - we can step in and give you a clearer picture.
